Ididit - 1969-72 Chevy Chevelle, El Camino Tilt Steering Column, Floor Shift
This retrofit column is designed to fit your 1969-72 Chevy Chevelle, El Camino and does NOT require modification to your original vehicle to install. Simply remove your old column, saving your original under dash mount and floor mount. Using an adapter, add an aftermarket wheel and the gripping surface of the new wheel will be in the same location as the original. Please note: the 1969-72 column does not have the provision needed for the OEM Neutral Safety Switch or indicator. An alternate method must be used. The ignition is excluded on 1969 & 70 GTO.
